How many new jobs have been created so far by the renewable energy sector in Hungary? How many can further be developed if the renewable target of 13% by 2020 will be met? A study to analyse current and future work place effects and give recommendations to improve these.

An international research project how to use biomass in a sustainable way. Renowned Central-European universities and research institutes provide up-to-date scientific information on environmental, economic and social effects of biomass utilization, which will be disseminated to local farmers by also involved consultancy bureaus. Our experiences have shown that there is a big need for presenting successful renewable energy projects from the CEE region, as very often it is the lack of information that keeps local municipalities and corporations from lauching sustainable energy investments.
