ENERGY POLICY
A Critical Assessment of Energy Markets

The AGREE.NET report has been prepared by researchers and non-government organisations from across the European Union and neighbouring countries. The main focus was to look at the impact of EU energy legislation and policy on developments in the newer and potential Member States of the EU. The energy sectors in these regions vary considerably and are often quite different from those of the “older” Member States of the Union. Therefore the existing and new legislation coming from Brussels presents diferent challenges and opportunities than for the more established countries of the European Union.

You can download the summary of the report here, out of the eight country reports on which the Critical Assessment study was based download here the report on Hungary.
