Chernobyl + 20

Description:

For remembering the 20th anniversary of the catastrophe of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, we built up a campaign of different elements:

  • the actual issue of our newsletter was dedicated to the matter
  • a special publication was issued, describing particularly the respects of the accident in Hungary, analysing contemporary documents (news, articles etc.) in 1500 issues
  • based on our researches, we also contributed to an article appeared in the historical periodical Rubicon
  • a webpage was established (www.csernobil.hu)
  • a sticker campaign was carried out, targeting the younger age groups
  • a commemoration with candle lighting on the night of the 26th April
